Hawke’s Bay Fruitgrowers’ Association and Young Fruit Growers

Living in the fruit bowl of New Zealand, we know how important it is to partner with organisations that encourage innovation and the next generation that will help keep our region thriving. With an aim to protect, foster and promote fruit growing in Hawke’s Bay - this organisation is doing fantastic work around education, lobbying and promoting career opportunities in this sector.

A highlight of our year is being a part of the Young Fruit Grower of the Year competition which provides a chance for young horticulturists to showcase their practical skills and knowledge.

Community Support Work

We are incredibly lucky to work with a supplier like Kärcher, who treat their stockists like family. Their support means we are able to provide help in our community when it is needed most.

When the cyclone of February, 2023 devastated the Hawke’s Bay region and so many of our customers, Kärcher immediately got in touch and supplied us with equipment to loan and give to those in need in our community. Through this generosity and the hard work of our team here at Baywide Equipment, we were delighted to be able to help make a real difference to the clean up process.

We learned more than we ever thought possible about the damage silt can do to heavy machinery, and we're so pleased that we were able to play a small part in our region’s recovery.
